Unity, DirectX, C#, HLSL For my senior computer science research, I am investigating large-scale particle simulation methods on the GPU. The image above is a still of a moving 8,388,608 particle system generated by the GPU. The motion of the particles is determined by a Perlin noise algorithm. The particles above were created based on the pixels of an image of Connecticut College's library.

Sizzl is a mobile application based on Tinder that serves to enhance a user’s ability to make decisions about what and where to eat a meal. Based on a user’s preferences, the app generates a list of restaurants within the vicinity. I developed Sizzl with a team of 5 other students in a Software Development course in the fall of 2016. My role in the team was Project Manager, and I also developed the UI for the app.

A user indicates what kind of food they are craving, the price point they are comfortable with, and the distance they are willing to travel. Based on the user's preference, the app creates a list of dishes from restaurants that a user swipes Yes or No to.
